About Hyacinth Jeremiah

Mr. Jeremiah is a forensic accountant with over thirty-two (32) years experience in assurance, tax, fraud investigation and consultancy services. He started his accounting career at a young age moving through the ranks from an audit trainee to Audit Manager. In January 2011 he started his own practice, Jeremiah Business Consulting, before joining the HLB network in June 2020.

Mr. Jeremiah experience spans a wide range of industries including hospitality, manufacturing, financial services, insurance, small and medium size start-up businesses, non-profit, government and donor agencies. He also performed consultancy services to many small and medium size entities especially start-ups and distress companies.

Mr. Jeremiah was the senior internal auditor at the CARICOM Secretariat in Guyana. Mr. Jeremiah is a certified chartered accountant, certified internal auditor, certified fraud examiner and a forensic CPA. He is a member of the council of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of the Eastern Caribbean – Grenada Branch.

Pearlena J. Sylvester

Audit and Assurance Partner

Mrs. Sylvester started her accounting career with the Accounting Firm of Touché Ross and Thorburn, Jamaica in 1989 after completing a course in Business Administration (Accounting). She later relocated to Grenada, where she spent the next twenty-three (23) years with PKF Accountants and Business Advisers serving as Senior Audit Partner for seven of those years.

Advisory Services Partner

Ms. Francis brings to HLB Grenada some forty-four (44) years’ experience in internal and external auditing. As Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers and then PKF Accountants and Business Advisers, she has audited and provided advisory services to a diverse group of companies including Commercial and Development banks, Credit Unions, Utility Companies, Building and Loan Association and Mutual Banks as well as wholesale and Retail and Insurance Companies.
